COMPLETED PROJECTS
James Lee Court – A 26-unit affordable family housing community
Originally constructed in 1992 by DHW
Complete renovation completed in March 2013

On Thursday, May 9, 2013, development partners Dignity Housing West and Community Housing Development Corporation welcomed Mayor Jean Quan and staff, as well as project funders, community supporters, and the buildings residents in celebrating the complete renovation and environmental upgrade of James Lee Court.

Located at 690 15th Street, the complex consists of one, two, three, and four bedroom apartments with state-of-the-art features that promote both comfortable living and environmental sustainability. A beautiful central courtyard, community and computer rooms, as well as spaces for outdoor play and exercise are only a handful of the amenities within the building.

The extensive green design features include the new energy efficient laundry facility, energy efficient windows and landscaping, as well as low VOC paints, reduced formaldehyde cabinets, and environmentally preferred flooring materials.
